They are persons who provide safety at the sea, lakes and natural and artificial inland water shores and pools, and they are persons who have basic training to help life saving. They are authorized and responsible for providing safety at pool as well as sea, lake, natural and artificial inland water shores, perform cardiac massage and artificial respiration, and making above-water search and rescue, surveillance and first aid practices within framework of training standards and programs of the Federation.
